About Cara Lee

I have taught piano and violin to children and adults of all ages and levels of experience since 2001. I graduated from Emmanuel College, earning a bachelor’s degree in piano and violin performance. My training includes piano and string pedagogy, the Suzuki method, Kindermusik, piano and string literature, accompanying, music theory, sight singing/ear training, music history, world music, conducting, etc.

My first teaching experience was in my private studio in Hartwell, Georgia from 2001 until May, 2007.  Since moving to Louisville, I have taught locally through the Sacred Heart School of the Arts, Christian Academy of Indiana, the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary Academy of Arts, and the Little Flock Academy of Arts.  I am delighted to once again be teaching in my own home, which provides unique opportunities for my students and myself.
